Fantastic establishment, a cornerstone of the reading bar scene and a must-see for those who visit the area. A plentiful bar and a wonderful vibe no matter the day or time, you'd be hard pressed to find a fault with this classic venue. Lovely place and I will certainly be returning soon.

Liam, favourites his friends and told me that I have to pay for another round after watching his “mates” poor them all over m and my friend… I’m a avid customer of purple turtle and I was completely dismissed due to his poor management. I’m not impressed and appalled by his behaviour, friends before customers… not impressed.

if i could put 0 i would; the staff are disgustingly judgy and made the group i was with feel awful. Worst experience - if i could go back in time i wouldn’t even consider going there.
